IMDT Accredited and Fully Qualified Professional Dog Trainer and Behavioural Consultant. I’m also a Professional Gold Member of The Pet Professional Network and hold an OCN Accreditation in the Principles of Dog Training & Behaviour.
My Aim:
My aim is to bring our world and that of our wonderful canine friends closer together, so we can truly understand what they’re trying to tell us and help them overcome any problems along the way!
My Journey so far:
I have studied many different methods of training over the years, but the IMDT way sat completely right with me. Not only is it scientifically backed and proven, but it's ethical too. Aversive training methods usually only suppress behaviours, they can also have a fall out and actually make things worse as time goes on.
Along my journey I have met so many different breeds of dogs, different problems ranging from pulling on the lead to severe barking, anxiety to aggression, and lots of different ways people have tried to help the situations and their dogs.
I’ve heard from some people who’ve been told the reasons for some behaviour's is that their dog is ‘naughty’ or 'stubborn'. This is rarely the case!
All issues can be rectified, with time, perseverance and patience. ‘Quick fixes’ rarely work for long, as we need to deal with the root cause of any problems. Behaviour modification takes time, if it's to be done properly.

Dog & Puppy Training
Training programmes devised to meet all phases of a dog’s life, from being a puppy parent, to ongoing issues with dog training and settling in your rescue dog.
Each new programme consists of an initial assessment and training session, plus additional one-to-one training sessions, depending on your need. Puppy and Intermediate Classes
We offer Puppy/Beginner classes, the IMDT Grade classes and our unique and very popular 'Groovy Improver's' intermediate classes.
In our Puppy/Beginners classes, we teach the basics in training to get them started in life, including life skills, loose lead walking, basic recall, enrichment games and more. They will of course have lots of fun too!

Behavioural Programmes
These are specially tailored to you and are for anyone experiencing certain behavioural issues with their dog, where extra help and support would be needed. We assess your dog, find the root cause of the problem and devise a training programme to suit.
Each new programme consists of an initial assessment and training session, plus additional one-to-one training sessions, depending on your need. We also offer ongoing support via our existing client training programmes. These are highly recommended for reactivity, fear and anxiety issues. Workshops
We offer various workshops, focusing on common training development areas, such as loose-lead walking, recall and that tricky-teens stage!
